Architectural Millwork

I became involved with the Architectural Woodwork Institute‘s Quality Standards Specifications in 1989 as Project Manager in New York’s Capital Region. For eight years I managed prestigious architectural millwork projects installed throughout the USA.

Since 1996 I have been an AWI Quality Certification Program Representative. This is a select group of five professionals from throughout North America with decades of experience in the architectural woodwork industry. Well versed in the Architectural Woodwork Standards, QCP Representatives are fully qualified to perform comprehensive and impartial inspections of architectural woodwork projects.

Formerly served on the AWI Joint Standards Committee and the Quality Certification Corporation’s Board of Directors.

The independent consulting firm, Shows Leary Millwork Management was incorporated in 2007 as a spin-off of Shows Leary Project Management (incorporated 2003). Since that time I have completed hundreds of inspections as a QCP Representative, Independent Millwork Consultant and/or Expert Witness.
